MCPHS Pharmacy Outreach partners with Montel Williams
On July 7, 2006 MCPHS Pharmacy Outreach teamed with the Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA) to educate Boston residents about Patient Assistance Programs. Montel Williams, national spokesman for the Partnership for Prescription Assistance, detailed how programs like MCPHS Pharmacy Outreach and the PPA help consumers of all ages save drastically on the prescription medication they depend on. MCPHS Pharmacy Outreach partners with the PPA by utilizing their web tool as one of the ways to identify assistance programs, and continues the process by providing follow up on the application process, including medication review from licensed pharmacists.
